A Collection of memories of the British Grand Prix experience

Silverstone 2012- even though the weather was typical English weather, all the fans came together in force and supported all the drivers on race day! Being sat in the crowd felt amazing and it felt like the whole crowd had come together as one! What an experience! Megan Ward

This year, I sat at Copse Corner for the race... When Sebastian Vettel stopped the whole corner was electric! Everyone was standing, everyone was cheering! Almost like f1 is a massive family! We all share a passion that is incredible to watch! Best weekend of my life! Megan Ward

First time at Silverstone since I was 6 years old. So incredibly exciting to walk from Silverstone Junior School parking on a perfect day with a bacon roll in one hand and coffee in the other and hear the engines screaming louder and louder.

What anticipation for the day ahead. Lewis on pole and I had a good feeling for him. The excitement and tension built as the Red Arrows amazed and thrilled - interrupted only by a solitary private plane entering their airspace. How dreadfully embarrassing for that pilot. I cant help wonder if he/she will dine out on that story or keep it completely secret?

We had seats high up in Becketts, an extravagant treat for the whole family to experience the best race in F1 from the best seats at Silverstone. Several amazing laps, with Becketts crowd going mad every time Lewis passed and then....... gutted! Somewhat ashamed at the cheers as Vettel grinds to a halt.

Fantastically exciting race, and an altogether perfect day. Such a different experience being at the track, so immediately watched all over again on TV at home. Sue Healy

Going through the gates at Stowe Corner and hearing the Engines of the cars to the roar of the crowd as they go down into Vale/Club Corner Fantastic Experience at the circuit to see my favourite drivers. Matthew Fallon

Been to the British Grand Prix for the past 3 years, each year (up until 2013) Hamilton didn't have the car to fight for the pole and the win. This year he looked quick all weekend. On the Saturday I was sat at Club Corner as he crossed the line to take pole. The Grandstand erupted with cheers and everyone clapping (myself included). Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! Charlie Wright

Standing in Woodcote when Lewis won at Silverstone - cried my eyes out. Standing by the McLaren stand when Lewis came to talk to his fans, when he qualified 19th on 2007. Crying when the tyre burst this year right in front of us on the Wellington straight (sat in Woodcote again) I air horned Lewis every lap as he caught up. Elaine Roberts
