My favorite memories of roadracing are competing against Nicky Hayden and winning the WERA V5 Championship in front of my grandparents at the Rockingham NASCAR track in N. Carolina. Later that day my grandfather pulled me to the side and told me what a good man I had become and how much he loved me...something he had never done before.
Meeting Brian Johnson from the band AC/DC and getting him to autograph my helmet a few years ago at Road Atlanta during an automobile race he was competing in is also a favorite memory, to be able to discuss my passion for roadracing with one of my musical heroes was one of the finest days of my life.
Racers are a family and the racetrack is our home.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to tell a few of my racing memories. I have many more.
