1978: Ronnie Peterson ( my hero ) takes pole but retires early on. Andretti retires later. An amazing finish when Reutteman dives underneath Lauda at Clearways to take a fantastic win. What a great day. What made it even better was the I was sent a signed photo. of Ronnie by the guy that ran the merchandise shop. I still have it today. Steve Butler

1990: I live in NZ and Pukekohe is my track. But I've also been lucky enough to attend the British GP in '90 when 'Our Nige' threw his helmet into the crowd after deciding to quit Ferrari. Damian Madden
1992: Has to be as a young teenager watching Nigel Mansell win at Silverstone in 1992, so wanted to mob him like the rest of the crowd on the track managed to do!! Colin Bowett

1996: Spending the 3 days with my big brother is the best memory of 1996 @ Silverstone! Damon Hill won the World Championship but sadly retired from the race! Schumacher during free practice spinning off at Hangar straight! Going home with one side of my body sunburnt as race day was glorious! Unusual for Silverstone! Mandy Revelle
