I first got into motorsports after watching my dad race in Formula 2 stock cars, my dad took me to my first karting session when I was 11 years old and after what he saw, he sold everything he had to get me karting.
I started racing at a NON MSA track in 2000 after numerous wins and my first bad accident involving being flipped over, my dad decided it was time to move to MSA as he realised I was actually serious and being in a bad crash wouldn't stop me.
In my first full year at MSA I took the Junior Max Championship (only female name to do so!) which was a good achievement for a newbie in MSA, again gaining many wins, fastest laps and podiums.
To cut a long story short my family has never had the money to put me into big series such as Super 1, yet my family never give up and keep pushing me along which I admire them so much for.
I now race cars, money is tighter than ever but that wont stop us from racing, I'm currently in the MG Trophy championship and so far my 2012 season as been a bit of bad one, it's my first season in it and just 2 meetings in we had a written off car, but all in all it did my confidence loads of good, I bounced back to be even quicker behind the wheel and keep pushing forward.
I'd like to thank my Mum and Dad so much for their support, after all if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to do what I love most, people in motorsports don't actually realise how lucky they are as it's just a normal life for them and there's kids out there that being a racing driver even at a semi-professional level would be a dream come true, but never give up on your dreams guys, if you want something you have to work for it!
