Growing up with a father who was running a rally school I lived and breathed rallying when i was at school.
One of my best memories was waiting at the marshal point at the end of a snowy RAC rally stage in Kielder Forest waiting to see my favourite cars, The White Lancia Integrales, arriving at the checkpoint in the dark cold conditions. I remember the anticipation, first hearing the roar of the engine then seeing the lights and flames lighting up the sky and finally seeing the car roll up to the checkpoint. A magical night which I hope I will always remember.
