This car was a reassembled car based on an ex-works Ford motorsport rally car of the seventies.
The car runs the usual specification of engine and gearbox for that era and even on todays hillclimb scene can still produce good times.
Fond memories of using this car at Harewood hillclimb just outside of Harrogate in Yorkshire where it was competitively driven on a regular basis and proved to be a class winning car.
Three wheeling is typical stance for an escort of this pedigree and the famous corner at at Harewood Hillclimb called Farm House demonstrated this for all to see.
The slightly adverse camber and exit speed resulting in the escort lifting the near side front wheel resulting in some popular historic style of pictures been taken and many smiles from spectators.
