Jack Cunningham and Christian Starling: two memories of the 2010 British Grand Prix

My best memory of Silverstone was watching it in 2010 where our own Lewis Hamilton was on the podium coming second in a epic race. Lewis had a amazing start overtaking Alonso on the first lap in which the crowd cheered mad for. Lewis continued his amazing pace in the McLaren all the race. Mark Webber was the winner of that race that year. It was great to see Mark win as it is a track he likes and Red Bull is based in Britain in Milton Keynes made it a nice home win for the team. Nico Rosberg for Mercedes came third in the race. He drove fantastically all through the race and he deserved that 3rd place on the podium.

Silverstone 2010 was a race I will never forget in my memory and will always be there. It was a epic Grand Prix which I hope to do again soon or in the next couple of years. The British GP is a amazing race that will be always be a favourite to the fans and should remain there forever. The British Grand Prix truly rocks! Jack Cunningham

My greatest memory at Silverstone was seeing Lewis overtake Alonso at Copse Corner in 2010. We were sitting at Copse at the time and I remember jumping out of my seat and was extremely emotional. I also remember losing my voice as I shouted the loudest I've ever shouted.

Alonso ended up retaking the place a few laps later but it didn't detract from the immense overtake I witnessed Lewis do right in front of me. Epic is the word! Christian Starling
