My Silverstone memory is only a few months old, the British GP 2013. This was my first visit to the track and watching f1 live was amazing! For Qualifying I was sat on the pit straight, where the atmosphere was electric when Lewis Hamilton took pole. The whole weekend was fantastic, the weather was dry (mostly) and the fans were great! First British GP I attended it was pouring down with rain typically. My friend and I were stood in the crowds in anticipation of the race. Then behold...a rather wobbly oldish guy streaks down the track!!! He was rather quickly removed by marshals with his modesty covered by a Jordan flag!! Love it. Kellie Barnes
I went to my first ever GP at Silverstone this year with my 6 friends, the atmosphere on the formation lap was electric as we stood at Becketts, but as the cars lined up and the red lights came on a complete hush fell over the crowd, it was as if we all took a deep breath at the same time. Having been assaulted by noise all weekend to suddenly be standing in almost total silence with a few thousand other fans sent chills down my spine, then bang, lights out and the bedlam exploded. Nothing will ever beat my first time at Silverstone, Lewis on pole, hearing those engines for the first time as the Grand Prix began, the cars speeding towards me for the first corner. I was physically shaking with excitement. Best feeling in the world. L. Jones

I recently went to the Silverstone Grand Prix for the first time in June and it was one of the best experiences of my life! My favourite memory was when Lewis won pole position and he went round the track and I was so close to his car! Also when I was in general access and the drivers all went past in the parade I saw all yeh racers wave at me, will never forget that! On the day of the race I remember when I saw Lewis's tyre go I just stood there and cried my eyes out and every time he drove past I cheered and screamed my head off. Can't wait to hopefully go again next year and make it a habit! Go team Hamilton! Maariyah Ashraf
