I have lots of great memories at Silverstone including me driving at the track in a single seated car, getting a taste of the thrill that racing drivers achieve. I loved it when I got to actually sit in a McLaren MP4 and to top it off I met Lewis Hamilton and got to ask him a question. Paul Bates
When my wife took me to Brooklands at the end of 2009 to see a few drivers drive and meet and greet, just before Hamilton was joined by Button, it was great to just listen to Lewis drive round the track , noise of the car was amazing and to actually be so close to hear him speak afterwards was my dream come true. The first time I came to Silverstone was in 1975 for the International Trophy which was when they trialled the six wheel Tyrrell which was a memorable sight! Thirty eight years later I'm back for my second visit to the circuit to see some of the great cars of that era racing again. It's fair to say the circuit has changed a lot since then! Chris Hall
