Since I was a child I had always dreamt of going to a grand prix and seeing my idol race, last year I made sure that it would happen, and I went to the worlds best track, Silverstone.
I remember how excited I was and the adrenaline rush was just kicking in, grandstands were packed for both FP1 and FP2 and I honestly couldn't have felt any happier. The weather wasn't with us and I was sat there soaked, but it didn't bother me at all. I saw Lewis Hamilton come by at the National Pit Straight and it all just felt so unreal, the man that I have been supporting since 2007 is right before my eyes, something that I thought would never happen.
Nothing can compare to the happiness that fills inside you when you see your favourite driver race, it really was a dream come true, it was F1 heaven! Everywhere you would see Lewis or Jenson caps and it all just felt like home.
Qualifying - sat waiting for an hour, soaked, energy drained, and mud on my trousers but at the moment I thought I could sit there forever. Just knowing that I was finally here to see my favourite driver race his heart out right before my eyes was enough for me. And from that day onwards I knew that I would be supporting Lewis forever and always and the atmosphere of the fans was just incredible! I cannot describe how amazing this experience was for me!!
I would just like to thank Lewis and all the drives for making this one of the best experiences I have had.
